Need some reason or the other to drag it till 2028, when teh warrants expire and the GSEs have enough capital so that Senior preferred can be voided and cancelled too
All regimes are too timid to pull the plug on warrants and sr preferred for the fear of the opposition pouncing on them, and this becoming a political thorn for the next elections.. hence the punt consistently.. One party acts, the other one reacts....
No Solution status quo....Perm conservatorship unfortunately
