Thanks JTFM. Pfizer will no doubt defend their intellectual property here vigorously. However, Sammy's patent appears to be an improved delivery system,. The Pfizer patents focus on the salts of Tafamidis and a general statement of (inert) carriers. Sammy's patent does not appear to mention carriers at all.
Your launch timeline would be the most certain one. I could see a situation like the United Therapeutics one where we use the Nuray patent to negotiate an earlier launch date.
