The primary motivation for vegans is a concern for animal welfare.

My opinion for dogs and cats, that folks keep as pets, violates their deep inner desire to function like wolves and wild cats.

If the world went Vegan they would make it illegal to have a pet, meaning Susie's dog would be euthanasia to put it out of it's misery.
