The average age in most African countries is far lower than the population in the U.S. or other developed countries, hence the risk of dying from Covid are much lower.

Is that what you mean by the African experience?

Despite promises, relatively few covid vaccines have made their way to Africa, and the mRNA vaccines, which rely on cryogenic storage to remain viable until they reach their destination at injection sites, face more difficult distribution problems in areas which don’t have the appropriate infrastructure.
