Is Berman in jail yet? I havent checked in for a long time.

Not yet. He used a doctors note to get the trial delayed until July.
But he has now parted ways with his Lawyer. And he is being called on to update his physical status as of 17th January and 'ascertain counsel' i.e. update the court and prosecution on his legal representation status at a zoom call hearing on 27th January.

So there will be updates later this months.
