Re: ENTA /stopping COVID transmission

ENTA’s slide #22 from the JPM conference (see link below) is a must-read. It shows that ferrets infected with COVID who received ENTA’s EDP-235 for 2 days were unable to transmit COVID to uninfected ferrets. On the other hand, ferrets given a placebo for 2 days readily transmitted COVID to uninfected animals.

Ferrets are not people, of course. But this is the kind of preclinical data that’s genuinely hopeful.
