#102540 RE: gilead23 #102538

SPRB I was too quick on the trigger (I mean I'm happy with the profit anyway) but still hold a decent amount. The reason I've been trigger happy is that during this past year every time one of my dinky biotex spike pre or post market they have just collapsed near term. Just yesterday or maybe two days ago, GLMD another one I mentioned in my year end picks, spiked from like .50 cent to over three bucks afterhours on real volume but only for like five minutes. I missed that, but GLMD is now .80 or so, and I still do like it. Others that I have sold throughout the year on the after hour spikes have ended up being great decisions (vinc, clbs, others). I mean they have just collapsed after huge spikes.

Now, SPRB does seem to have more going for it, including the Oppenheimer analsyst with an $8 price target who recently said the thought that SPRB would have good news coming out in 2023. And they have (before this deal) two years worth of cash on hand with supposedly some good research... at least for a stock which had a $25 million market cap before this move (and $90mil in cash). And unlike some of the other deals with these dinky biotex, SPRB is receiving cash w/o having to hand out a whole bunch of shares as part of the deal.

Anyway, its just been a shoot first ask questions later in the broken biotech world of the past year plus. best.
