Oh yeah, it's a good restaurant. Like I said I'm a bit biased growing up around here and having Italian beef coursing through my veins for a long time but they have really good hot dogs, sausage and pasta dishes. Their burgers are pretty damn good too but I just go there for the beef.
There was a drive in near my house that I thought had the best beef on the planet but they closed down when Panera came in and offered them way more money than their property was worth. It sucked because that place was around since I was born (Duke's- Bridgeview IL) and was always a once a week go to.
I've eaten all over the city too and probably had them all. Portillo's might not be the best in my eyes but it's really good for reliability, knowing you'll get the same product no matter where you get it and they do make a good sandwich.
LOL dumb ass me thought I was looking at the next Chipotle and took a huge haircut but I still have high hopes for them.
