Gollem, true enough in the volume range and in the US. At the high end, Athlon competes with P4. Outside the US, people want to see the performance (i.e. Poland, Russia, India, et. al.) and AMD is picking up market share.

I will make a prediction that AMDs market share in China will increase at a double digit rate for the foreseeable future and that it will happen on the back of the Athlon/Duron processors. A64 will be sold but it will not be the sweet spot.
