Yabutt a NOL can ONLY be used to offset income derived from exactly the same business that the company that generated the NOLs was engaged in.

Which is why NOLs in pennystocks are virtually never worth anything and aren't used, because the underlying business failed and was not viable.The NOLs could only be used to offset income derived from that exact same line of business.
