Hey gang. Yeah, I finally got it to go through. For some reason if I type the symbol in the quote box as bcyr.pk it comes up as non-existent. If I do a symbol lookup, and type in Barclay Road, it gives the ticker BCYR.PK in blue letters, as usual. But, when I click on it, again, it does the same thing.
But, I finally found the way around it. Thanks for the tip Q-reus.
I'm still trying to find out who all has actually made the swap for their bkmpp for bcyr.
Today I sent a notice to Trading Direct to send mine, but then my wife came up with a zany notion. She thinks that there is a possibility that as the April 30th deadline approaches, Sandy will have an idea as to how many "non-believers" there actually were and recant what he has said about the pfd's. She thinks he'll do a 180 degree turn and give value to them. In what context...who knows??
And to be honest, I've kinda had the same feeling. I truly hope I'm wrong. I say this, because with all the folks that are tentatively seeking 2HR's and AT's purchase of their divvies, BCYR's swapping for them...still knowing that Sandy said they will be worthless, and some just throwing them away
out of malcontent with Sandy, there will be an awful lot of investors whom will be completely robbed of any benefit as the already financially endowed investors; 2HR, AT, Sandy and institutional investors reap the rewards at the expense of those whom gave in.
So, I will wait until the deadline gets a little closer before I make a definite decision about my swap. As long as Barclay is still willing to do it then, of course.
We shall see.
