So 330m shares are owned by longs. When half dont get their shares in newco, there will be an uprising. Unless someone ain't telling the truth.

That's a load of crap. FINRA doesn't keep track of the shares outstanding, the transfer agent does that. FINRA requires all broker-dealers report their short interest on every stock, and they collect and report it to the public.
And, once again, the last reported, FACTUAL short interest on this stock was 4,658,068 shares. Anybody telling you something different is severely misled or is spreading misinformation themselves.
