King...who really knows? ...but anyways I do feel if "Judge Garth Baer" had sided with Judges Brown and Laney that Intel would have had very little wiggle room when dealing with Director Kathi Vidal at the USPTO but perhaps some of us are being too negative referencing the newest director at the USPTO. Sure it is hard to stay positive since we have been dragged through every possible ditch from coast to coast but hopefully the out come will be positive.

Hey King,

I know I’ve been pooping rainbows lately, but I’ve read this complaint on other boards and really do think Vidal is our best advocate. Her recusal would be a dilatory gift for Intel.

She had me at “lives with her rescue dog Oliver.” But In Vidal’s bio, she clearly indicates championing the little guy. The Davids vs the giants. She “helped harness and protect innovation at all levels.” Vidal “has spent her career championing the importance of mentoring and expanding opportunities to include more individuals from underserved communities.”

She is Vice Chair for Council for Inclusive Innovation, where she was quoted: “By encouraging and protecting more innovation, creativity and entrepreneurism from everyone – especially those who have historically lacked access – we will promote greater economic prosperity for all Americans.”

Vidal just doesn’t seem corruptible with a disregard for ethics and her own judicial integrity. It would imply a bribe from Intel. THAT would be corruption. If we are one of the 6% ers who are granted a review, I don’t think it will be due to the fact she once worked at Intel.
