AMR kind of scares me here. I think it's got potential to $40 or even as high as $40.50. Above that, you could always buy a breakout. I'd be hesitant to hold it long at $40.

FWIW, all this Iran stuff that's being talked about has the potential to shoot crude through the roof. April sometime is when that's all scheduled from what I've been reading.

Fricken $5.00/gallon gas if they lob the thousands of cruise missiles they're looking at shooting into Iran. Strait of Hormuz will likely be closed, tankers set on fire, and rationing of gasoline are all pretty likely if they do this.

There's a nice LNG plant near a US base in the gulf that would likely get attacked again and again too until it was sufficiently blown up. If you've seen Syriana, you'll know what that's like.

It would be nice if someone could make a good case for causing all of this. Right now all I've heard is some IED's from Iran are being used in Iraq, and there's a nuclear program that's suspected of not being civilian enough, although it doesn't seem to bother anyone that Israel has Polaris submarines equipped with nuclear missiles in the Persian Gulf at any given time.

I think people ought to get some perspective here. If China unilaterally invaded Mexico for having Tortillas of Mass Destruction (TMD's), I think it would be reasonable for the US to prepare itself defensively for the possibility of the spillover into our territory. Furthermore, we'd probably arm and support opposition groups there with beans, burritos, and whatever other BBMD's (Burritos and Beans of Mass Destruction) we could.

This is the kind of stuff that had people immolating themselves in Washington during the Vietnam conflict

Oh, PS, to hit the deep bunkers where the nuclear facilities are, they're actually talking about using nuclear weapons. It would be ironic if it weren't so horrifying.
