Is IPIX a shell company at this point in time in your opinion?

It's too soon to tell. With a market cap of $12M there is some potential to move if anything significant happens with BeaMed.

Currently it is an unsuccessful holding company where only the officers are making any money. And unless we sign a deal on OM shortly, we're probably never going to see any return on the pharma pipeline.

So the question is: is BeaMed legit and going to get it done for IPIX shareholders or was Leo just sending salary funds over to Moshe and Gil in the form of an investment?

Is there a scenario where merging IPIX and the laser company would be beneficial to shareholders?

If BeaMed is legit, then yes. The current problem with IPIX is that Leo is accountable to no one. He will continue to just milk shareholders dry for his salary so long as offers on the pharma pipeline are worth less to Leo than $500K/year for life.

That, of course, assumes Moshe and Gil would lay down the law on Leo after the sweetheart deal he gave them on capital.

We'll see. I'm still holding all my shares until such time that I need to take a loss. I don't expect to get anything more than that. I have $1000 set aside to buy a million shares at $0.001 as a final punishment.
