There is actually three PTAB case numbers.

It doesn’t make a lot of sense, but if you google each case number, two are motions, procedures (not sure if the exact term) that direct to the June 14th hearing. You’ll find the transcripts of this hearing by Googling the 550 case number. The separate dates of the Director Review Request don’t make sense to me. But, I’ve skimmed through 74 pages of the hearing where 2/3 judges ruled in our favor. Fascinating to read the actual case presented by both sides coupled with the clarifying questions from the three judges.

Also fascinating I think I understand the hyper-technical arguments presented. Even though I know the outcome of this hearing, it still added some comfort to our position - a person of ordinary skill would not make the Kohavi, Boser, Hocking combination. They lack the motivation to do so since each performs a different function.

I guess a crude example would be; Although Sugar, Chocolate, and Peanut butter are all known ingredients, this isn’t an infringement defense of the Peanut Butter Cup patent.
