ksquared, Agree the map is super cool. I maybe saw it the first time in a book titled something like, Teaching for Subversion. It wasn't about
overthrowing a government, but just about encouraging children to see bigger pictures. To think more openly. To question more.

It's interesting to know you as a woman are "perfectly comfortable using man for humankind." Could that be just
because it's become so comfortable for it to be used that way, i wonder. Feels sorta exclusive to me.

My rationale for woan i thought could be attractive to many woman .. wo for woman, an for man .. wo first as we are all there initially, both physically in a female womb, and physiologically in ourselves .. https://www.sciencealert.com/watch-we-were-once-all-female . Also putting wo from woman and an from man together in one is a 50-50 proposition. And it feels more inclusive.

So once it became familiar and as comfortable as man in that context, seems to me woan would be seen as a much more appropriate word as a representative of all humankind.
