He said that it actually works. It just doesn't appear to work to the author because the edit is cached on our server. All other Users see the edited post. Ksquared recommended editing it and then to make sure your changes are there go to Edit again and you should see the updated version in that view.

Edit: just tried the suggestion and that seems to work.
