stoxjock - Thanks for the history of WMIH common stock. The CT's are hybrid and I want to be clear that you are posting a different example here. This might be more appropriate for holders of common Lehman shares. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

IHUB had a glitch when I edited my original post. This is a test with the second.

Joyce, You know a lot more about WaMu than me and from what I heard (as I was a latecomer to WaMu), you were actively involved in the formation of the EC and other aspects. Thanks very much for all your contribution in ensuring WaMu Equity-holders were not wiped out completely; at least we got some WMIH shares according to those exchange ratios for various flavors of WaMu Escrows...

As regards my post, you are correct that these are CTs vs I was talking about 'commons' of WaMu. I was just responding to the original poster's musings that they could make CTs tradeable any time. As regards Lehman Commons, I am certain that once LBHI completes its own capital 'restructuring', probably we would receive new Preferreds & Commons, in whatever 'exchange ratios' they come up with according to Valuation of 'Emergent' Lehman and subsequently will let them start trading. I just hope they won't do it so clandestinely as they did with WMIH.
