Then why does the most recent quarterly financial include the following text about a plan (over the next 12 months) for "large scale U.S. production"?

"Plan of Operations

During the next twelve months, we expect to take the following steps in connection with the further development of our business and the implementation of our plan of operations:

...

We have initiated and plan to accelerate our efforts for large scale U.S. production. This work will include the research and possible production of a new transgenic tailored specifically domestic production."

Hopefully the pure spider silk or smaller quantities of medical use spider silk will be able to be manufactured here.

That's not true. Oh, what a selective memory you have. The first country was never named. The story I got from Ben was that the main problem was that the workforce was not up to the task and couldn't be depended on. That was why the promised metric ton production in 2014 never materialized.
