I think this is a smart move and imo they are not doing this to raise money to complete the study. It would cost much more than the maximum amount allotted of $5MM. I also don't think they could collect enough data to complete the study in a timely fashion. They are doing this to stay afloat, get through the C meeting. Etc and with favorable results. Imo, they already have a deal on the table and the announcement is the red tape to make it happen. They are showing all their cards because they have something positive with Bucillamine, they need cash to get it over the finish line. It's the only logical explanation. $5MM isn't enough for a rug pull!! As a longterm holder, I like this move.
