Are you suggesting Episode 3 proved the tech......

worked?

If so, please explain.

All the other aspects of treasure hunting are really secondary if their technology does not work.

The other aspects Reynolds addressed was research and compliance. $100's of billions have been located and recovered over the past several decades without SFRX's tech, and we see Allen Exploration salvaging a Spanish galleon located in part by Richard Marx back in 1972. That wreck is estimated at $1.6B and again, no SFRX tech.

Some super-duper technology is the answer to SFRX's failures, it's an admission they are lacking.

He rightly said research will narrow a target area. Melbourne is a very small target area, and if $4B in treasure were there why can't the tech find a mere trinket, if it works as touted in these promos?

The Baer admits Melbourne is just flotsam in the Bureau reports, so why would there an expectation of a huge find?

SFRX has also suggested the Juno treasure is miles from the ballast pile, which proves a lack of expertise, not to mention common sense.

As far as him touting their record on compliance, that too is laughable. The Bureau has warned them that it's a violation of state and federal laws to disturb a Spanish vessel without permission from Spain, but SFRX seems to think they're somehow exempt, as do their affiliates and shareholders.

Spain is claiming Allen Exploration is salvaging their property, but for years we've been told current salvage laws only applied to warships.

Quote: I want to know if our armchair technologists still think SeaSearcher is a con like they have maintained for years. Where are your absolute statements that Episode three is just one big lie from start to finish based on your background in technology and knowledge of what SFRX is doing. All the other aspects of treasure hunting are really secondary if their technology does not work. Is it possible you were wrong all this time?

On my part I've never stated or even implied SeaSearcher is a con. I have tabled it as a pretty non-performing toy. If I'm wrong then correct me and tell me what it has done successfully - clearly documented with facts? What it supposedly does is already being done by surface towed and diver operated systems. The blind leading the blind when it comes to Reynolds and Kennedy respective to what they know about treasure hunting. Anyone with any real background in the field readily realizes this in short order by the very naive statements they make. Actually not surprising when taking into consideration the fact that neither of them have ever found or worked a Spanish Colonial period shipwreck. Allot of nonsense.
