OT: yeah the mites have been an ongoing struggle but if you are super careful you can manage them. and then there are bees diseases like foulbrood. but you can treat that with tetracycline. this disease is different in that the bees disappear. a hive can regenerate pretty fast if it is healthy. bees live for their queens ; ). it's very concerning for anyone who needs a crop pollinated.
