100%. Every gun owner should be tested and be required to have a license, like drivers are, every gun should be registered, like cars are, every one should have to re-register every 2 years, like cars are.
Guns should be permitted to people who need them, whether they're ranchers or people who live in rural areas or inner city businessmen who transport a lot of cash and that's it. Permits should be hard to get and the laws about them strictly enforced. Gun owners should have to have insurance and bullets should be extremely expensive.
Show the world you have a little dick someway else. Gun nuts are the real groomers of kids in our society. Why don't the cops in London routinely carry
guns? Huh?
If every idiot in America didn't own 2 guns, then police encounters wouldn't turn lethal so often, the police have to constantly worry about everyone they encounter being armed. Let's de-escalate the anger in our society and more guns isn't the way.
Oh, and everyone in a well regulated militia should be allowed to have guns, too, just like the 2nd Amendment states.
