What you describing leaving as "Sandoz in 2019 after getting a few promotions" is a career at Sandoz that spanned more than a decade. What you call a few promotions is moving up the ladder from being managing director of just Bulgaria, then leading branded generics in Russia (larger market more responsibility), then he served two years as the Executive Directory of all of Sandoz's global operations (~$10 billion in annual sales) with his final position being the executive directory of Head of Customer Excellence team. Meaning he was leading the team that made sure customers (companies that bought Sandoz products) were happy. You don't think he made some good contacts and friends with many of those customers!?

He has 2,343 followers on LinkedIn. That indicates to me that a lot of people both like and respect him and feel tracking what he does is important for their success. He is also proficient in English, French, Russian, Bulgarian and Spanish languages. Being able to speak the language opens doors.

BTW, Sandoz being a competitor for Adderall improves his value to Elite. It means he could already have established, positive, relationships with people who buy Adderall. I think he can make calls to old Sandoz customers and they will take his call and they will trust him when he says he has an Adderall product that is of high quality and lower price than its competitors.
