I think it's more nuanced due to bad history recognition. Should we call people who wave a swastika flag and chant 'Jews will not replace us' Nazis? Of course we should. but they are the king of the racist pukes out there, so they win the badge.

It's the same thing on their side with all this 'woke' nonsense and fighting a boogeyman that doesn't exist with this critical race theory and child grooming stuff.

burning books, firing teachers, attacking Disney etc.

The word might have a solid meaning from the past but we are 80 years into this shit and there's really no other words for the youngins to describe it. It's obvious that no one is a Nazi anymore but it's the ideology that will remain unless we can teach our children better.

"I've never heard Pol Pot described as a Nazi or a Hitler."

How about Arthur Jones or David Duke? How about Nick Fuentes, or Doug Mastriano? Rich Iott?

There certainly are enough of them.

Years ago when we had editorial pages, a Mrs. Goldstein answered an opinion piece of mine by informing me that Nazis had killed 6 million people. (Who knew? Also I guess the non Jews didn't count) A friend of mine said, yeah... they did, but not on the day the party was formed.

And while I'm certain this guy is Jewish, please tell me he doesn't evoke Adolf Eichmann to you... or that you couldn't see him running an extermination program for Native American migrants, or any other group of untermenschen. Fucking please. The schuh fits.
