But Veritas, just because Judas was a disciple of Jesus does not mean that he ever came submitted spiritually to Christ and was saved. Peter and Andrew, and James and John had to be called more than once from their life of fishing to follow Christ. Even then they did not immediately recognize and accept Christ's true place as the Son of God and their Saviour. Had they gone back to their lives of fishing yet again, they would have been no more saved than the Muslim, or Hindu, or Buddhist who has no knowledge of Christ or has rejected him.
