Dude - please provide some helpful info. like what percentage of ISRG's revenue came from SP sales ? It is such a LOW percentage that it's almost meaningless.
What YOU can't/won't comprehend is that nobody really gives a rats azz about the benefits of SP. The brunt of these GYN surgeries can and will be done the traditional way. What the grand sages missed is that NOBODY is clamoring to get a stranglehold on SP robots. ISRG is selling very few as it is and THEY have the budget and teams in place to sell.
*** Maybe just maybe, SP can sell in third world hospitals to give the "impression" that some are now cutting edge. That is it IMO. Somebody buying Titan for a song might be able to place 2 or 3 devices per year in Cambodia and the Isle of Man for the near term (next 5 years or so). Ain't really worth it hoss.
