Check the history of posts here that day. People were panicking saying the price had fallen 30% or more BEFORE the market opened. If so I wonder who headed for the exit and at what times.

Of course. Neither care about the stock price or the people who own it at this point. The new company isn't intended for the current crop of shareholders. Nor is Patel counting on them. His post on Facebook pretty much made that clear. Mayne he does something to satisfy people before the merger just to get them gone before it takes place. We'll see.
