If_twitter_dies, where will biotech posters go?

I know that many reasonable biotech discussions, and other discussions occur on twitter, but if the entire platform blows up due to mismanagement, where are people likely to post?

After all, iHub and other stock message boards exploded with new users and posts when Yahoo Finance gave up on moderating its message boards, refusing to remove blatant spam and personal death threats.

So, what’s next if Twitter goes downhill along the same road?

Most people who follow the biotech market, medicine, or other topics don’t want to be bothered with flame wars, spam-bots, or political diatribes.
