by when is scotus to decide to take the case or not? if they do, when would they possibly argue?

How many times have I used the word 'blueprint" describing the 7-23-2021 ruling? hers a Pro Tip: They already have one. Two scenarios as I see it, again all my opinion but still waiting to be disproven. That said:
1) They reject the writ
2) They review the writ submitted and rubber stamp their earlier decision thereby further cementing their previous actions.

Seriously, does anyone seriously expect them to say "Oh man, did we miss the boat on this one!" This is honestly getting ridiculous.
