I think there maybe more delays between share cancellation and merger announcement (which would follow custodian termination), but this is one of the more realistic guesses I've seen here.
Hopefully it gets moving soon and merger happens before April. If it happens in February I'd be ecstatic, but don't want to be disappointed if it doesn't.
