Are not much of non us central bank reserves simply paper that have been leased, hence any sales actually impact present supply? a decrease? Many were based on hedges and derivatives in turn. I.E. if Bundesbank vault holds IOU's then they must call in leased gold to be able to sell? A conindrum wrapped in an enigma.
It only works if gold is treated as the barbaric relic.
