The patient has no symptoms and if the test is positive, further testing is necessary. Early detection would save many lives. A false positive would be a worry but not serious after subsequent testing proved negative. A false negative leaves the patient in the same condition as before, with cancer but doesn't know it. BOCX is developing the screen to be marketed by a company in that business, possibly Abbott. It looks very reasonable to me.
