Beam11, lets say NeoMedia was originally planning to attend this years 3GSM. So at the end of 2006 they signed up for a booth so they could exhibit qode and attract potential partners and/or licensees.

But lets say something very significant occurred between that point and now, which would take NeoMedia away from the general exhibitor's showroom and place them elsewhere.

So naturally, they would give up their exhibitors booth since they would be needed for much more important things such as a high-level closed door meeting with some of the world's leading technology firms to begin to define and document a critical standards-based initiative.
