Altogether I believe it was a grand scheme devised by a handful of crooks with no knowledge of mining, only how to run a scam. PT was the unwashed, poorly educated titular head of a P&D.

That is very possible.

PT doesn't have the brainpower to run a scheme like this. It requires someone with actual knowledge and experience about capital markets and stock promotion. PT had neither.

No doubt others were involved in making, and taking, the money here.
