Hail to the Victors and Screw Moo U.
The altercation in the tunnel was not surprising since the staffs of both teams were having a hell of a time keeping the kids (thugs) from fighting on the field after the game. Saw the 10-on-one video just before I read this. Unfreakin' believable. I hope the NCAA, Big Ten, and the courts throw the book at them.

PSU started something in the tunnel at halftime when they played us.
What's with these stinkin' cow colleges?
Not a full brain among the student body.
Cripe. It's only a game.
There's far too much emphasis on sports and not enough on academics these days.
JM snotty O.

As for the future of the season, who knows?
Rutgers could take us down next week. Groan.
The OSU game will be brutal.
Michigan has work to do (get the damn ball in the end zone).
We'll need a lot of luck on our side. Go Blue.

P.S. Morning, Stuffie. I woke up for the second half and couldn't go back to sleep until after 2:00. My sleep schedule comes naturally to me. As a young 'un, I was always a morning person and ready for bed around 7:00. Didn't take naps. My parents loved it. They had the evenings to themselves. <g>

New video shows helmet swing during Michigan State football attack
By Jenna Lemoncelli October 31, 2022 9:32am Updated
(I hope the players involved and the MSU athletic department are NAILED for this inexcusable behavior. Pictures and videos at the link.)

There is new video footage that appears to show a Michigan State player hitting a Michigan player with a helmet during a brawl in the tunnel after Saturday’s rivalry game.

In the footage, a Michigan State player appears to swing his helmet and make contact with a Michigan player, who was surrounded by members of the Spartans. The Michigan player appears to be the only Wolverine in video, which was shared by Twitter user, @GoBluePoole.

One video shared by Maize n Brew’s Trevor Woods shows 2:13 of the melee, with the helmet-swinging moment occurring in the beginning of the clip. Woods said that that video was filmed by the mother of a recruit from Bloomfield Hills.

At the :25 mark, Michigan State players can be seen escorting one teammate away from the scuffle. Police and stadium security can be seen walking toward the incident while bystanders and Spartans players looked on.

Other videos posted to social media show several Michigan State players appearing to beat up Michigan’s Ja’Den McBurrows and Gemon Green in a hallway inside Michigan Stadium following the fourth-ranked Wolverines’ 29-7 victory.

On Sunday, Michigan State announced immediate suspensions of Tank Brown, Khary Crump, Angelo Grose and Zion Young.

“We are currently working with law enforcement, Michigan State and Michigan campus leadership, and the Big Ten Conference to further evaluate the events in Ann Arbor, including but not limited to, additional student-athlete participation in the altercations and contributing factors,” head coach Mel Tucker said in a statement. “The initial student-athlete suspensions will remain in place until the investigations are completed.”

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said one of his players might have suffered a broken nose.

“Two of our players were assaulted,” Harbaugh said without naming his players. “I saw on the one video, 10 on one. It was pretty bad. It needs to be investigated.”

Michigan State president Samuel Stanley said he was “saddened” by the incident, which he called “unacceptable” in a statement on Sunday. Stanley also apologized to the University of Michigan and the student-athletes involved.

It is unclear what started the incident between the Big Ten rivals.
