Do you know much about FL? This isn't a Bible Belt state by any means. Our legislature has been majority Republican for a long while, but they passed the Right to Try Act in 2016 which included medical MJ. It won by over 70% of voters in a referendum to write it into our Constitution not long after that.
I know plenty of right-leaning folks who have their med cards and support legalization. It's also very popular in the retirement crowd in 55+ communities. Retired folks love those gummies.
You mentioned the Florida Dept. of Health may not be on board and hasn't approved the locations yet. Do you have a link to something reporting that? I've been looking for info and can't find it. I wouldn't think that they'd be going full tilt on the PR if they hadn't had this plan worked out already.
