Rich is a relative word. I have been trading Carvana, BTU, and some semi stocks.
I got lucky with Carvana, met the founder several years ago at a wedding. Impressed by their fun way of selling cars. I never bought initially as it kept on going up and up when it dropped to $19 I bought some and got out around $35 shortly. Now I am ready to buy another round.
BTU, same story, trading range for me is between $19-$26 but at the end of last year I got lucky and bought around $16. I'm already on my round 3 on BTU. My mom is "RICH" from trading this stock, she purchased this stock before COVID for under a buck. She has been trading BTU only for the last 2-3 years.
Semi stocks I have followed for decades so I have a good feel of the industry, I bought and sold 2 rounds since I got out of Fannie. I am about to get in for 3rd round.
I have always been a trader not a long time holder of any stock. I held Fannie and Freddie for years because I do believe we were wronged immensely and believed that justice will prevail. Up to 2016 I still believed but since then I saw the writing on the wall yet still held on until I got so sick of looking at it after 9+ years.
Anyhow, I feel for you guys and hope the best for everyone but really sick of the booms.
