QMEI...Esther Law's departure......

QMEI, Potse did you see this? What's your take? Looks like a hostile ousting of her, wonder what is going on behind the curtains.

The language/tone in that news item from QMEI certainly makes it sound like this was not a very amicable separation between Esther and the company. I am not really sure what is going on with that situation, and not really sure what to think about it.

I've noticed that it has been quite awhile since Esther has mentioned anything about QMEI on her social media account. It seems like after the new CFO was brought in around the middle of August almost all of Esther's attention in the last couple of months has been directed toward other parts of her business world and other aspects of her life.

The filings don't give a specific breakdown on what Esther's ownership position in the company was, but I am thinking she probably had indirect ownership of around 20%. It will be interesting to see if the CEO acquired her position or if a third party investor has entered the picture.

Definitely an unexpected, eyebrow-raising development. Activity at this company seems to be picking up.
