Dude, all criminal bonds are appearance bonds! It is a bond to guarantee you show up for court (i.e., appear for trial). It is not a bond for guaranteeing completion of a construction job or a bonded messenger service. A bail bond is an appearance bond, and vice versa. It is the same exact thing in criminal court.
