Yeah unfortunately most people are just way too emotional and take it personally. It's as if it's a referendum on who you are as a person based on how you pick stocks. I don't see it that way - there's some research of course, but a ton of luck. That's why I'm not big on betting a ton, and prefer just maximizing 401K and other areas. If you have tons after that, ok, but most of us don't.
