This reads like this plan has been sitting in a republican committee since 1936...
Waiting for the sequel, "Child of Reefer Madness".

SHWZ just needs to keep executing, like the last two NM dispensary openings are demonstrating.

Meanwhile I'll sit here in a Colorado Summit Disc league jersey waiting for interest to return to the sector, since we're sitting here in the 1s til that happens some time next year.

Spot on.

Well, as a firearms aficionado-collector I'll never get to try for pain relief as the DOJ maintains their stance on use being a person of character who is untrustworthy and inherently dangerous...lol. What does a former ranger-parachutist do? Suffer mostly.

Ironically denying legalization at the federal level doesn't hinder the company's plan. In fact, helpful oddly, as a temporal factor. I do believe it (legalization) will change at some point before I'm dead. And that may be awhile. The time delay will assist in the creation of a dominant Super Regional. Meanwhile the other remaining half-dozen Tier I/IIs with no depth will battle the inability to scale, fail and a subset will still be pumping first mover in some limited license State some more next year. Then Social Equity will catch up to them and what they paid millions for will be given away to their new competitors for next to nothing. Life. It's never ever fair. So, as you point out...the children will save us from ourselves if we save them from us first.

https://www.marijuanamoment.net/house-republican-group-releases-agenda-opposing-legalization-of-marijuana-linking-it-to-suicide-and-violence/

Paragraph One
A major GOP House caucus has released a “Family Policy Agenda” that expresses opposition to federal marijuana legalization and attempts to link its use to suicide and violence—but the cannabis criticism is leading to pushback within the group, with staff for two members openly telling Marijuana Moment that the lawmakers disagree with the prohibitionist rhetoric.

My hope is that after the election, however it may fall, tax revenue considerations leave some of these conservatives to think a little more clearly.

Time will continue to reveal increased cannabis use within the US population. I think the 2021 Gallop poll "Bottom Line" theory is flawed as once there are dispensaries every other block, the stigma of cannabis use will fall hard and more US citizens will use cannabis in many forms.
