No one shorts these. As an example, to short a million shares, a thousand bucks worth, of VNTH down here one would need $2,500,000 of margin. Yes, that is 2.5 million dollars. Anyone with that kind of money isn't playing around with a thousand dollars of VNTH.
Now imagine shorting 10 grand worth of VNTH. Yup, you guessed it - 25 million dollars would be needed.
Ain't happening.
Shorts being blamed for pennies tanking is due to either sheer ignorance and/or sheer misinformation fed to the ignorant.
