Wind turbines also have a braking system to control the spin in high winds but they wear out too.

Was driving through Texas and saw a Blade Disposal Area off the road where those hundreds if not thousands of wind mills are, did not know the blades wear so fast, what do they do, bury them ?

No way to recycle ???
