Im no apologist for the ceo of ANY company, but,..."Let’s hope this guy gets his act together" is rather perplexing considering the present circumstances.
What i do hold him to is that shite pr that was put out that was severely lacking in clarity and context, the result being the relative panic that ensued.
1) Was mf the qualified researcher who selected pcr testing as the basis for the ep change!?!
2) Does mf have any control, or influence over the fda, their decision making process and the timing of said process!?!
3) Does mf have any control whatsoever as to buccy being effective against covid, in any way!?!
Those questions were rhetorical since he doesnt, and at this point in time, these are the issues at the core of the present "delay", per say.
In fact we should be a bit relieved they already scrubbed the 500 data and readied it for presentation to the dsmb since this likely spared us a further week or two delay.
As was reported by dales, the fdas ""denial"" and request for dialogue has NOTHING to do with the veracity of the data, but rather is merely a procedural obstacle.
The likely source of this claim is mf so we are left with a choice to believe this is the case, or not.
