I get the part about being upset if you bought it higher. I bought much higher too. But to recommend selling now, at this price, may be a huge mistake.

Ask yourself this: If you had just learned of this company TODAY, and about what it does and into which markets it is selling, and saw the price it is selling at TODAY, and you were looking for a good investment TODAY, would you be upset or happy about how low the price is?

If your answer is that you would be happy to have found it at such a low price, why then would you suggest to someone else to sell it at this low price?

I get the pain of suffering through the downturn, but if you tell a loved one to sell now, think how you will feel if they do sell and then it goes back to where its true value is, and a lot higher?

Sell if you need the money now, but in any other situation, why in the world would anyone want to SELL today? If anything, this is where I would want to BUY.
