Sir I think it's important that you understand what an orphan drug designation means. It doesn't increase the chances of approval by one millionth of a percent. All it says is that if this drug is approved, it will be designated as an orphan drug. In the end, provides 0.0 value unless the drug is approved. It is there to motivate big pharma to work in areas and provide potential treatments for very small Markets.
