That's it exactly. Shareholders own the O/S, and it will be the shareholders that will gobble up the new A/S as they become available. So posting to twitter is the best way to get updates for the shareholders.

This really isn't major news....it's more like, "Oh, in passing, our shareholders might want to know about something new the company is accomplish." They didn't say so, but success here could lead to bigger endeavors.
