Yes, the story is uncompelling. You really think that something allegedly that valuable would have just been sitting there for a stinky pink company to snatch up? Seriously? And if it were and they intended to advance it, they'd state that directly in the use of proceeds after asking for the full development costs instead of "we estimate" what it will take and asking for part of it.
